Albertville serves as a hub of industry, and is proudly known as the “Fire Hydrant Capital of the World” because it is home to the most productive Mueller fire hydrant plant. Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater is a 130 plus acre park in Albertville aimed at serving all of Sand Mountain with family-friendly, public play spaces, world-class live entertainment, and elite-level athletic facilities and rec sports programs. With a focus on main street re-development, Albertville’s historic main street is home to unique retail shops and restaurants and has recently gotten approval as an entertainment district, which hosts several community-wide events through the year.
