Surrounded by the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Northeast Alabama, Grant is a picturesque village located on top of Gunter Mountain. Beautiful scenery surrounds Grant with views of Guntersville Lake, the Tennessee River and historic Kennamer Cove. Grant is also conveniently situated between surrounding cities such as Guntersville, Scottsboro and Huntsville Alabama.

Rich in history, Grant is home to the Kate Duncan Smith Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) School. Also, located just five miles from Grant is the Cathedral Caverns State Park. The Caverns are a geological wonder and national treasure. The huge cave mouth measures 126 feet wide and 25 feet high, a possible world record for commercial caves. Inside the cavern are some of the most beautiful formations Mother Nature has ever created including “Goliath”- one of the largest stalagmites in the world measuring 45 feet tall and 243 feet in circumference. The caverns maintain a 60 degree temperature year-round making it a great destination for adventure!
